Hinds Mechanical Services has been a part of the Hinds community for the past 15 years. What started out as a husband and wife team has now grown to a team of 9. Chris, Damon, Shaun and Dave have all kinds of knowledge, from old vehicles through to new vehicles as they have had years of experience with both. They have also just employed their first apprentice, Mel who has settled into the team and environment really well. Last year saw a big change for everyone with a move into a new premises, 200m up the road from where they were.
Hinds Mechanical offer a range of services from wof, repairs, servicing, tyres and farm bikes, from small engines to big engines. They can also offer new vehicle servicing. The space in the new premises means they can now add the last piece of the puzzle and do wheel alignments.
They have employed Bevin who has over 20 year's experience in the industry. Having a bigger shop means they can stock more products that they had before, batteries, oils, trailer parts, pipe fittings and consumables. They have also added a welder, pumps, water blaster and a generator. Being an agent for Elite Trailers and Floats means they have trailers on display to sell. All sorts of sizes to cater for all sorts of uses, from carting animals or filling with firewood. Another service Hinds Mechanical has on offer is digger hire, Bobcat 2T and a JCB 2.5T, they are great for track work, gardening or repairing the unsuspecting water leak.
Having a great relationship with their suppliers and clients has helped the business thrive to how it is today with the support that they have given over the last 15 years.
