About the role
We’re looking for someone who can have a genuine conversation with a farmer, provide excellent customer service, and has the skills and proven track-record to assist our farmer members with a variety of sales and order requirements.
This is a full-time role based in Ashburton, which offers plenty of variety, including inbound and outbound calls, participating in sales campaigns, and general membership services.

About you
You will have a passion for farming and a demonstrated track record in customer service, sales and account administration, and an understanding of financial and banking practices, ideally from within an agricultural business. You will have an extensive understanding and affinity with agriculture and the local rural sector, and the ability to develop strong and trusted relationships with our Mid Canterbury members.
You’ll have an excellent eye for detail, great interpersonal and organisational skills, and a can-do attitude, which will help you thrive in this varied role.
As part of our friendly, service-focused team, you will bring energy and commitment ensuring every interaction meets our exceptional service standards.
