Robilliard’s Showcase Jewellers: Unique pieces and the latest trends
Robilliard’s Showcase Jewellers was established in 1896 in Ashburton. Mark Douglas bought the company 14 years ago, choosing to downscale from working in big retail. He loves the interaction and relationship he has with locals and some of his staff have been with him since purchasing the store. He believes this plays a huge part in the shop’s success.
Mark has been with Ruralco since he took over the business, and has built a great relationship with his reps who in turn are his customers.
“The fun of the business is that you get to make relationships. My business is built on these relationships. If people don’t trust me and my team, I realise they have other choices, so I’m very appreciative and always say thank you when people do choose to shop with me.”
As a Ruralco cardholder himself, he sees first-hand the benefit and ease of accepting Ruralco cards, as well as being a cardholder. He believes that Ruralco has a great standing and is well respected in the community, which plays a big role in the trust of his business.
