There are field days and then there’s Agritechnica. Are you ready to visit the world’s largest agricultural machinery exhibition? This November, step into the future of farming with a once-in-a-lifetime agri-tour through Germany – anchored by the world’s biggest agricultural machinery expo: Agritechnica.
Held every two years in Hannover, Agritechnica is the international meeting point for the agricultural machinery industry. Under the 2025 theme “Touch Smart Efficiency,” over 2,800 exhibitors across a massive 40 hectares are showcasing the latest in precision farming, robotics, harvesting, seeding, irrigation, and more.
.
Thanks to a special partnership between experienced tour operator Farm To Farm Tours Ltd and Miriam Boyens – a German-born, Kiwi-based rural professional – you’re invited to join an exclusive, small-group tour designed for farmers and machinery enthusiasts who want more than just the typical Agritechnica experience.
What’s in the Tour?
Inside Agritechnica
• Two full days exploring the expo – with time to return for more, if your feet allow!
• Dive deep into the world of tractors, drones, balers, harvesters, mechanical spraying, precision tools, and smart farming systems on a jaw-dropping scale.
Manufacturer access – behind the scenes
This group will get private access to the HQs and production lines of:
• CLAAS
• Amazone
• Grimme
Meet the minds behind the machines. Learn about their philosophy, innovations, and what drives the future of farming technology.
Progressive farm visits
See German agriculture in action. You'll visit a hand-picked selection of innovative farms, tailored to your interests:
• Megawatt biogas operation and ongoing maize harvest
• Highly efficient arable, potato, and mixed cropping enterprises with specialty crops, and modern packhouses
• Livestock-integrated systems
• Farms across stunning rural regions like the Magdeburger Börde, home to Germany’s most fertile soils
• Sugar beet processing plant and other agribusinesses
Visits are tailored to the participant’s interests, ensuring that every participant gets value, insight, and inspiration that fits their own operation back home. With opportunities to look beyond the farm gate and gain insights into the economic, political, and geographical challenges and opportunities the local farmers face.
Naturally, no trip to Germany would be complete without sampling the culture – and this tour delivers. Expect stops at quality restaurants, rustic Brauhaus dinners, and overnight stays in charming regional towns. And yes, there will be plenty of good German beer along the way.
