Thank you for your support through COVID-19 to date, we appreciate the cooperation and kindness of every member towards each other and our staff.


It is certainly great news that we are entering Level 2, however, as the Government has made it very clear, Alert Level 2 is not life as normal; we are able to continue to support your farming business however some restrictions and other measures remain in place to reduce the risk of transmission.


Thank you in advance for your support and patience as we transition into Level 2 together. 


We will remain operating as we are until Monday 18 May.


From Monday 18 May all store hours will remain Mon – Fri 8am to 5pm until further notice. 


All stores will remain closed on Saturdays until 6 June when Ashburton store will recommence the usual Saturday trading hours 9am – 12noon.

Our team will let you know when your order will be ready for contact-less collection, we will do our best to make these available within 48hrs however please bear with us as we may experience delays during this period, thank you for your patience.
f you have ordered in advance & a staff member has advised you that your items are ready for collection, you can drive to the store to collect your order.

For Ashburton, drive through Inwards Goods (entry from Burnett Street) to collect your order. A one vehicle at a time policy applies, so please be patient.

If you cannot order online or on the phone or by email you will still be able to come to the store, however we are operating under strict protocols. Our team will help you from behind a 1m barrier for all of our protection. We will be restricting the number of customers in store at any time and customers will be required to stay distanced by 1m. Please be patient and follow the instructions provided by our signage and staff.

Fuel & Energy

Our fuel suppliers are confident of continuity of their supply, at this stage there is no shortage of supply in NZ. Our suppliers have assured us that they have the resources in place to meet all on-farm deliveries so these will operate as normal. 
Our experts are here to help you through these difficult times and are available via phone or email to look after all your fuel, lubricant, fuel storage requirements and information.
You will still be able to fuel up at fuel stations throughout the country and pay via your Ruralco Card. Expect to see protocol changes, as implemented by the fuel company.
No, power is considered an essential service. Therefore your power will continue to be provided as normal.
Yes, if you are a Genesis energy customer, your LPG delivery will continue as normal. 


Other Services

Ag Recovery at our Ruralco sites at Ashburton or Rakaia will not operate during this period.

Our after-hours number (03 307 5100) is for emergencies only during this period, please respect this service. 
Yes, our office based teams are working hard to ensure we can still deliver our usual services such as statements. But please be patient as there may be a slight delay.
If you have created a Ruralco login you can view all your statements online in “My Ruralco” the menu bar. If you do not have a Ruralco website login click here to create one.
We are now allowing pre-arranged on-farm visits by our account managers and our wider sales team; however please help us maintain 1m distancing. We will not be able to offer a handshake but a friendly wave is appropriate. 
Our team will record all contact to ensure we can quickly and easily track and trace in the case of an infection.
If any family members or anyone on the farm is unwell, we will not be able to enter the property.

We realise these are extremely stressful and anxious times and during a crisis such as this it is extremely important to look after the wellbeing of you, your families and your staff/colleagues.
